What LastBite is
LastBite is a listing service. Food shops post their unsold food at a discount; customers reserve it, pay the shop directly by UPI or at the counter, and collect it with a 4-digit pickup code. LastBite does not sell, cook, store or deliver food, and does not take payments. Each sale is between the customer and the shop.
Using LastBite
- You must be 18 or over and give true details.
- Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Don’t misuse LastBite: no fake shops, fake orders, or attempts to break or overload the service.
For customers
- A reservation holds the food until the end of its pickup window. You may hold up to 2 open reservations, with up to 5 items each.
- Pay the shop the amount shown, by UPI or at the counter, and show your pickup code when you collect.
- Reservations you don’t collect are counted as no-shows. Repeated no-shows may limit your account.
- Check the food when you collect it. Questions about the food itself, refunds or allergies are for the shop to answer; tell us too if something went wrong.
For shops
- You must hold a valid FSSAI licence or registration, and only post food that is safe, fresh and from the same day.
- Describe each deal honestly: item, quantity, original price and deal price.
- Hand over reserved food to customers who show a valid pickup code within the pickup window.
- Payments go straight to your UPI ID; you are responsible for any taxes on your sales.
- We review every shop before its deals go live, and may reject, suspend or remove shops or deals that break these terms or put customers at risk.
Our responsibility
We work to keep LastBite available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, LastBite is not liable for the food sold through it, for disputes between customers and shops, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
Ending use
You can stop using LastBite at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
